One thing to note is that Patrix is constantly receiving updates from the developer. The developer also made a 32x low resolution version which is still better than vanilla Minecraft which uses 16x textures. Gamers with extreme frame rate drops are recommended to use the 128x version. The 256x resolution version of the Patrix resource pack is resource intensive, and difficulties can arise even on modern computers. The resource pack is available in 3 different resolutions. With the help of the shadow pack and the higher resolution of the game’s textures, shadows now look much sharper. The Patrix texture pack only works with SEUS PTGI because other shaders do not have the features Patrix needs. Patrix requires the SEUS PTGI shader package, which can be installed like any other shader package. This feature makes it possible to create more varied environments. For example, some blocks have several different textures and this feature only works with Optifine. It uses some of Optifine’s features to make specific things work.
